Toronto Tennis City opens May 1 at 185 Balliol Street
A new club in an old setting is opening up on May 1,2010 in the Davisville area. Toronto Tennis City which operated out of Adventure Valley at Leslie and Steeles for the last two summers, will become a year round tennis facility for juniors and adults.
The new club under the direction of All-Canadian Sports Management Inc, president Pierre Lamarche will offer a limited number of memberships for adults and juniors while providing first rate programming and services to all members.
The award winning ACE Tennis programs will be offered for juniors; spring competitive and recreational programs as well as summer camps. This marks the return to Toronto of ACE Tennis, 10 years after the company left the national center at York to establish their successful school at Burlington’s Cedar Springs Health, Racquet & Sportsclub.

Dear Greenwin Tennis Club member
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to provide insight on issues which affect your present Greenwin Tennis Club Membership.
1. Greenwin Tennis Club will close its doors on Friday April 30, 2010. All membership and program issues should be addressed with the present ownership of the Greenwin Tennis Club.
2. A new club, Toronto Tennis City [TTC] will open its doors on Saturday May1, 2010 at the 185 Balliol Street location. The club will be operated by All-Canadian Sports Management Inc. a long time entity in the Ontario and Canadian tennis landscape, in the area of club and event management as well as junior player development.
3. Only 400 club memberships will be sold for the new TTC Club. Information on membership fees are available at the Club as of May 1, 2010 and at www.torontotenniscity.com
4. New members will be required to pay a one time $1000 initiation fee upon joining. Existing Greenwin Tennis Club Members will be offered the opportunity of rejoining the new club as of till May 30, 2010 without paying the $1000 initiation fee as long as memberships [400] are still available.
5. Our intent is to continue with existing summer adult programs and to offer the present coaching staff the opportunity to service their existing clientele.
6. The junior program will continue in its present form for an eight week session running from May 1 through June 27
7. ACE Tennis, Canada’s top ranked junior tennis development program and part of All-Canadian Sports Management Inc. will restructure all junior activities as of June of 2010.
There is still uncertainty at this time on the state of the facility on May 1, 2010. We will be at the Baillol street location from 8am to 4pm on Saturday May 1, to answer all your questions, renew your membership and provide you with insight on the management of your new club. I look forward to meeting you and insuring an easy transition to your on-going enjoyment of tennis in Downtown Toronto.
