No Guest Fees for TTC members this month

We would like to show our appreciation to the 100 members from Greenwin who have joined Toronto Tennis City. We are offering the opportunity to bring former Greenwin members or potential new members to play at TTC without any guest fees for the month of May. You only need to book through the reception desk.

New Rules and Amendments

After discussing with former Greenwin members, Toronto Tennis City has made the following changes to make our policies more members friendly:

1.    Booking courts through game time will remain unchanged for weekdays but weekend booking times will start at 8:30 am

2.    Members will be able to cancel courts up to 72 hours before the scheduled court time

3.    Game Seeker will be under the same 72 hour cancellation policy, i.e. if we or you have not found a partner 72 hours before your court time we will automatically cancel your court, unless the member assumes responsibility for the court

Fact or Fiction

Pierre Lamarche, director of Toronto Tennis City, is interviewed by his alter ego “Da Bear” to help answer some pertinent questions raised by concerned former Greenwin members:

DB: The new club, TTC will be primarily a junior club, fact or fiction?
PL: Fiction. We are committed to bringing the best training program, ACE Tennis to TTC to offer Toronto area children top training opportunities,  however TTC is first and foremost an adult-based membership club.

DB: You have changed all the policies to take away privileges from the members, fact or fiction?
PL: Fiction. We have introduced policies which will guarantee more opportunity for members to book courts through the closing of loopholes which some past members used for their advantage.

DB: You only have experience with juniors and are not qualified to run an adult club, fact or fiction?
PL: Fiction. Our company has managed over 17 health and racquet club facilities over the years including Ontario Racquet Club in Mississauga and Cedar Springs Health Racquet & Sports Club in Burlington. I have also been the tournament Director for the Canadian Open in Montreal. Most of all, however, I am a tennis person in and out and have been all my life.

DB: You will change your mind and let former Greenwin members rejoin in September without paying the initiation fee, fact or fiction?
PL: Fiction.

DB: You love the club and believe it has unbelievable potential. You are committed to making it a great tennis facility and believe there is no better value for members due to location, clay courts and pricing. Fact or fiction?
PL: Fact. Compare, there is no better year round value in the core.
